Overview: The second workshop of the iNDigital Youth Collective Workshop Series with imagineNATIVE. Instructors Maize Longboat and Kahentawaks Tiewishaw brought the ideas of character design that participants learned during the paper-and-pencil 7th Gen Character Design workshop the week pior into the virtual world of Second Life. Everyone was given their very own avatar and teleported to AbTeC Island, our virtual headquarters, to learn how to customize their appearance. Participants molded their digitalized bodies and shopped for unique hair, clothing, and accessories to bring their character illustrations into the third dimension.
