Caeleigh Lightning

Caeleigh Lightning is a Cree/Irish 2 Spirit artist and a member of Samson Cree Nation completing her Master’s of Design (MDes) at Concordia. She is a graduate from Trent University in Indigenous Environmental Studies. Their honours thesis explored how principles of Indigenous storytelling can be translated into video games. Caeleigh is the lead artist and illustrator at Ekosi Studios, an indie game studio created by herself and her sister Keara, creating narrative games about Indigenous futures. They look forward to continuing to explore Indigenous storytelling and digital media at Concordia.
